Art Rogue and Art at the Arcade Opening Was a Huge Success

Last night Art Rogue and others from Art at the Arcade had our grand opening. All the hard work and late nights proved to be fruitful because the event was a smashing success

This was a big deal and a major paradigm shift for the arts in Nashville, since the city has never had a true Arts district. Judging by the enormous turnout, the city of Nashville was craving a cohesive art scene and we all delivered.

I was blown away by the response to my work and made a few well deserved sales. It was very hard to chat with everyone and I thank Alaina for handling those folks that required attention or had questions

Another big hit was my keg of beer. Most art openings offer just wine and that is not the Art Rogue way. People praised the beer and we lifted our glasses (plastic cups) in toast. So next show I promise to have beer again.

I feel a major sense of pride and accomplishment right now. However, this was just a milestone and the beginning of Art Rogue. I have a show to prepare for next month and art to sell, something I look forward to.

So praise and thanks to all that helped, showed up, and bought my work. I can’t tell you how important this all is to me.
