Nashville April First Saturday Gallery Crawl

The time is drawing near. Saturday, April 7th is first Saturday gallery crawl night. As always, we are expecting a huge crowd. The word is Nashville’s NPT (National Public Television) will be on the scene rolling film.

I am preparing new work that I am quite excited about. The work will be montage and photo-illustration. Basically a mix of photographs, textures, scans, etc. The final product will be more photo like with powerful imagery and concepts. I have been working on my laptop and will head into the studio where I keep a nice big monitor for detail and color work.

This work will lend itself well to book, magazine, and album covers. All markets that I plan to break into. Photo-illustration is a medium that I have always enjoyed and something I’m comfortable with. I love using the computer as a creative tool. In fact, it was digital art that brought me to photography.
